1. Architecture:

This phase involves creating operational design and project plan for implementation of virtual infrastructure, determination of the impact of virtualization on the IT organization and infrastructure and preparing a Virtualization Blueprint.

2. Implementation:

This involves implementation of virtual Infrastructure i.e. installing hardware, completing configurations and building virtual machines. The end state of this phase is achieved by getting the necessary approvals and integration with application, storage and network to deliver a working infrastructure.

3. Management:

Once the virtualization project is implemented, HCL creates operation guides documentation around processes for upgrading and monitoring for smooth running and management of the virtualized infrastructure. We also define road map for expanding new area of virtualization desktop, business continuity and processes.

4. Transformation:

The HCL team outlines operations procedure and does server consolidation and operations optimization. The Transformation phase is complete with greening of the datacenter and an enhanced end user experience.
