HCL Technologies ventured to China recently and established its operations there in August, 2007. The main objectives of this set-up are:

To have a China Development Center as a part of HCL’s global delivery footprint
To establish itself as a leading IT service provider to a large enterprises in China

The first phase of China operations was set-up in Shanghai which is one of the leading software parks. It has a seating capacity of 150.

Services delivered out of the HCL Technologies China center will be around Application Development, ERP, Engineering services and Infrastructure support.
